1. This year’s 1 st meeting of Beaverton’s BPA will be during WIN on October 12 th in
Mrs. Wagner’s room, Room 155. Come see what it is about.
2. This Wednesday at lunch there’s going to be a Leo Club meeting in Mrs. Colman’s
room to talk about future plans.
3. 7/8th Student Council will beet in Mrs. Sprague’s room during WIN on Wed 10/12.
4. Varsity Volleyball parent’s night will be October 17 th and Varsity Football parent’s
night will be October 14 th . Please come to the office & complete the parents night
announcer form.
5. BLEACHER CREATURES interested in attending the MHSAA Sportsmanship
Summit at Saginaw Valley State University from 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. need to
let Ms. Johnston know by this Friday. We can take up to 6 students. First come,
first serve.
6. Seniors: Please join Class of 2023 Google Classroom. Important information will
be posted in there as Mrs. Gerow receives it.
7. Students taking the PSAT/NMSQT please remember that your test is tomorrow.
Please meet Mrs. Hargrove at room 233 no later than 7:55 tomorrow morning.

8. Attention all students interested in Drama! This year's Madrigal Dinner Theatre
auditions will be held Wednesday October 12th at 4:30pm in the band room. If you
want to look at the script ahead of time you can grab a copy from the office.

Days. Now that Homecoming is over, students must follow the dress code which

2. Homecoming dance this Saturday 8-11pm at the school. Tickets are $5 and will be
sold at the door only.
3. Afternoon CTE: There will be no afternoon CTE buses provided this Friday due to
pep assembly. Students should work in library until pep assembly.
4. High School Fall Sports Team will be dismissed at 2:00 pm on Friday to meet by
the gym to line up for the pep assembly.
5. Please release all High School Band students during WIN Class to go perform for
the elementary school. As well as 10 minutes early from 6th period to get ready for
the pep assembly.

(Mrs. Sprague’s room) in the morning before school and at lunch Mon-Thu. All
interested 7 th /8 th graders may come and help with this the banner will be in the
parade on Friday.

3. Community member looking to hire a couple of students who can load a U-haul
with packed boxes on the last Saturday of October, no furniture involved. More
information available in the office.

5. Spirit Week participants will be counted all week in WIN class, must be in class in

classroom or you can pick one up in Mrs. Sprague's room before you go to mentor
today. Wear your green shirts!

The Beaverton varsity volleyball team lost the match against Gladwin this evening in 3 straight sets
Lady Beavers volleyball team dropped the 2nd set to Gladwin 25 to 11.
At the varsity Beaverton volleyball game tonight in Gladwin. Gladwin takes the first set 25 to 15.
BEAVERTON FANS are invited to today's Jack Pine Conference Cross Country Jamboree that will take place at the school in order to showcase our new track and stadium. The first race begins at 4:30 p.m. The football bleachers or baseball bleachers will be a great place to watch the races! VOLLEYBALL competes for the Cedar Cup Trophy and is battling for first place in the JPC tonight in Gladwin. JV begins at 6:00 p.m. and the theme is "Red Out." GO RED!
