STREETSAFE: Here's a tip of the stovepipe hat to BJSHS Paraprofessional Hope Cumbee, who's been filling in as crossing guard recently. Not only has she kept our kids safe, she's added a healthy dose of holiday zing in the process. #StayFrosty #GoBeavers

GRINCH IN A CLINCH: Forget the media hype. Forget his reputation for being "difficult." The Grinch is flat-out adored 'round these parts, as he proved this morning at BES - greeting students and handing out hugs like they're going out of style. #GoGrinch #GoBeavers

SAFETY DRILL: In our ongoing practices designed to keep students and staff safe, we conducted campus-wide intruder drills this afternoon in cooperation with Beaverton City Police. After the simulation, teachers and students discussed different scenarios and potential actions that could be taken in the event of an actual incident. As campus safety and security plans continue to evolve, rest assured we’ll always make it a point to keep the community informed and involved. #Safety+Security
