The Michigan High School Athletic Association has directed all member schools to suspend activities in all sports for all seasons- effective Monday, March 16 through at least Sunday, April 5th. All activities include practices, scrimmages and competitions/games, as well as strength training, conditioning and any other organized sessions and activities in all MHSAA in-season and out-of-season sports. Updates will continue to be posted as necessary to the MHSAA Website at

Announcements: March 13, 2020
• Governor Gretchen Whitmer has canceled all school for the state of Michigan from Monday, March 16 through April 5. More information about the school will be communicated as it is determined through our Website, App, and Social Media platforms.

• We recommend that students take home belongings that they will need for the next three weeks.
• If you are a student that will need medications currently on file at school or medical equipment used in the school setting during the closure, please contact your parent and the building secretary so that arrangements can be made for pick up. Certain medications such as controlled substances must be picked up by a parent. Medications and equipment not needed during the closure can remain at school.
• Students taking college classes should follow the guidance of the college or university.
• 7th and 8th grade students your World's Finest Chocolate candy bar money is due to Ms. Coughlin or Mrs. Hubble by next Tuesday March 17th. Let us know if you are having a problem selling the rest of your candy bars.

• Congratulations to our JSHS Choir for earning an Excellent I Rating at District Choral Festival at Standish and qualifying for STATE in May. They received lovely comments and praise from the guest clinician following their performance AND earned a 27 out of 30 in the sight reading room. This is quite an achievement for our young choir - considering they were missing 11 singers!!! Keep up the excellent sound!!!!
