2. Northwood University will be here on Monday, September 27 during WIN, sign up using QR
codes available with WIN teachers or in your google classroom.
3. ITVS 6 th hour meet in room 153 for the rest of the school year.
4. Attention All Students: Do you have missing classwork? Do you have credits to recover?
Do need some extra help with your studies or just a quiet place to work? If so, we have
just the place for you! Academic After School! It will begin on Monday and will be held
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 3:20-4:20. On Monday's you will meet in Ms.
Coughlin's room and on Tuesdays and Thursdays you will meet in Mrs. Sanderson's room!
No need to sign up! Just grab your work, a snack from the cafeteria and show up to the
correct room on time! Please see Mrs. Hargrove if you have any questions.
5. Any girls grade 9-12 that are interested in playing basketball, there is a sign up sheet in the
office.

Float building may begin this Saturday, an adult must be present at all times during float
building hours. Floats will be built at the following locations:
Freshman- The Hess Residence: 2439 W. Knox Road
Sophomore- The Longstreth Residence: 2490 River Road
Juniors- The Cooper Residence- 4049 Raymond Road
Seniors- Grove Industrial Supply: 116 Pearson Street

Events: Varsity Football @ Harrison, game starts at 7:00 pm, bus leaves at 5:15 pm.
Weekend Events: MS & HS Cross Country @ Cadillac, meet starts at 9:30 am.
Event Results: In Wednesdays JPC cross country meet at Harrison Tessa Wohlschlegel placed 20th out
of 53 in the girls varisty race on a very difficult, hilly course. In the boys race Taj Spencer was 28th and
Payton Corrigan was 36th out of 57 runners. In the girls middle school race Myah Hubble was 8th out
of 65 and in the boys race Riley Sprague came in 44th out of 51.
JV football won against Harrison 26-0.

Special announcement about our Beaverton Jr/Sr High School Homecoming Parade, especially fall youth organizations. We are excited to, once again, have our homecoming parade next week. We appreciate everyone who helps make this event a success. Please be advised, from this point forward, the Beaverton Jr/Sr High School Homecoming Parade will only be for 7th through 12th grade students. We encourage all other youth organizations to come out and support the parade as spectators. It is an event that all youth can look forward to participating in once they are in the Jr/Sr High School. Thank you to everyone for your understanding. Line up will begin at 4:00 next Friday, October 1st in the front of the Jr/Sr High main parking lot for the 7th through 12 grade student organizations.

Beavers beat Meridian 31-22 on a Patriotic evening. Beaverton Schools will be donating 2,280 to Tunnel To Towers Foundation. Thanks to all for the donations, to the veterans and active military in attendance and to the Great Lakes Veterans Coalition for the Garrison Flag for the National Anthem.





We're hoping to see a lot of Active Military and Veterans at tonight's football game vs. Meridian at 7:00 as you will all receive free admission and be recognized at half time.
We also have a special surprise for the National Anthem.
All gate proceeds will be donated to the Tunnel To Towers Foundations and extra donations may be given at the ticket gate.

by Friday this week. Voting will be held next week.
3. There will be a bleacher creature meeting at lunch in Mr. Coleman’s room, everyone is
encouraged to come and share their ideas
4. FOOTBALL GAME THIS FRIDAY: In honor of the 20th anniversary of 9/11, this Friday's
football gate proceeds will be donated to the Tunnel2Towers Foundation. The student
section theme has been changed to USA. Students are asked to invite any veteran they
know to attend the game free of charge to be recognized at halftime of this Friday's game.
