Good Afternoon Beaverton Families Do you like pizza lunchables? Does your student like burgers? How about breakfast pizza? Do you need a gallon of milk? If you have answered yes to any of these questions, please join us tomorrow and every Monday at the Beaverton Jr Sr High School for our weekly food distribution. The food distribution is from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm and starts again at 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. This food distribution is available for any child under the age of 18 years old. The child does not need to be enrolled in Beaverton Schools to receive food. We hope to see you every Monday at our weekly food distribution. Stay safe and healthy! Go RED!

At this point, Beaverton Schools will remain closed for Face to Face instruction and continue with Virtual learning through Friday, April 16. We plan return to face to face learning next Monday, April 19. Information specific to your child’s learning plan will be coming from the teachers.

Good afternoon Beaverton Community. Today, we were notified of several students and another staff member have tested positive for COVID-19. In addition to these numbers, we were notified of several other students and staff members who are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19. In addition to these COVID concerns, we have a significant staff shortage for the remainder of the school week which will impeded our ability to operate effectively and efficiently. We continue to work with the health department to respond to this situation and we are taking every step to protect the health of our staff, students and community. Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation. Beaverton Schools will close for Face to Face instruction and convert to Virtual learning effective immediately. Mrs. Carland, the school nurse, has contacted all involved students that were in direct contact with the infected person. The food distribution will be held for one hour only, starting at 1:30 pm and ending at 2:30 pm. There will NOT be a food distribution next week during Spring Break. Attached is a flier regarding the Rapid Antigen Test drive-in that will be in the CGRESD Area School parking lot on Saturday, April 3 from 10:00am-4:00pm. This is open to students, staff, and the general community. Folks are recommended to register first, but they can still register when they get here. The overarching goal is to identify folks who are highly contagious so they don't go to school on Monday, April 5.

On Monday, the food distribution will be held from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm and again from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. On Thursday, March 25, we will be hosting a special food distribution. This food distribution will be held for one hour only, starting at 1:30 pm and ending at 2:30 pm. There will NOT be a food distribution during the week of Spring Break. Tonight’s 6:00 VARSITY boys basketball game vs. Gladwin will be streamed on You Tube: Gladwin Athletics, as the Beavers strive for an undefeated regular season with a win tonight. Team will be presented with the JPC trophy after tonight’s game. GO RED!
