SPRINGING INTO TRACTION: It's always an experience when Firefighter Phil Andrist shows up at the school with his bag of first responder tricks. Today, he spoke with Anatomy & Physiology students on the importance of proper immobilization techniques in caring for patients with possible spinal injuries. And, as is always the case when Phil guest-lectures, it was a hands-on endeavor. #SpineOfTheTimes #GoBeavers

A SPECIAL DAY: The Beaverton Elementary Salute to Veterans event has evolved into a heartfelt display of appreciation to our local heroes by our young students. On one end of the hall, our guest lecturer, Huntington Bank's Jennifer Harper, delivered essential fiscal knowledge to Personal Finance students, including career considerations and savings options. On the other end, Art students painted the pumpkins that will line the streets of Beaverton to celebrate Halloween. #GoBeavers #Adulting #Community
