In response to the recent school closings over the course of the next few weeks, Beaverton Elementary School has decided to cancel all spring SPECIALS programs unless otherwise notified.
These include:
-The 2nd/3rd Grade Sock-Hop Dinner Dance
-The 6th Grade Band Grand Rapids Symphony “UP” trip
- The 4th/5th Grade “Joust” musical production

Good luck this weekend to the Gladwin Area Squirts hockey team. They will be competing in the State tournament in Trenton, Michigan this weekend. Good luck Gladiators and bring home a trophy!


Beaverton Elementary has two reminders for Wednesday, March 4th. 1) It is a half day for students and they will be released at 11:30 a.m. 2) It is also Pajama Day!

Author Paleo Joe will put on an assembly for elementary students March 4th.
Order forms for signed copies of his books went home last week. Order forms are due THIS WEDNESDAY (February 26th)!

Just a reminder BES will be having a Fun Lock-In tonight from 3pm to 5pm for 4th - 6th grade students only. Cost is $5 with additional food items for purchase during the event. It should be a great time!

The after school SPARKS program will be cancelled today, Thursday, February 13th, due to road conditions .

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Little Ceasers Pizza Kit fundraiser. We are excited to announce we raised over $1600! The money will be used for attendance incentives and other activities. For example, our perfect attendance bike give away at the end of the year.


Great job tonight, girls! Little Miss Pep is a fundraiser supporting the BHS Pom Pom team. Elementary students are invited to attend a practice session and then preformed their routine during halftime tonight at the varsity basketball game against Midland Dow High. Go BES!


Thank you to Chartwells for providing all students with ice cream to celebrate Count Day! A special thank you to the NHS students who volunteered to serve the ice cream.



Michigan Student Count Day Is Tomorrow! We want to encourage you to make sure your child attends school on Wednesday February 12th, 2020.
