PTO Meeting: Tuesday, January 18, 2022. This will be held in the Beaverton Elementary Library beginning at 3:30pm.

Just a friendly reminder: our elementary doors open at 7:45 with school beginning at 7:55. When dropping students off early please check the temperatures and ensure that they are dressed properly for the time they will be waiting outside. We’ve had some very chilly mornings and want to make sure our students are staying warm! Also, beginning instruction takes off at 7:55 am. Our teachers start promptly with their morning meetings, lessons, and specials. Please have students in school with enough time to be prepared for the start of the day. We are continuing to experience many tardy students. In the event of an emergency situation, please communicate with our office or your classroom teacher so we can best meet the needs of your child. Attendance is important and every minute counts for academic achievement and success! Thank you, Beaverton Elementary Staff

Ski Club Reminder: The first trip is scheduled for January 6th, 2022. Money and forms are due at this time. Any questions, please contact Jada Carland at (231) 758-4962.

The students and staff celebrated their spirit day today by spreading Christmas Kindness notes. It was wonderful seeing and hearing many positive comments and kindness in the building today.

The ski resort used will be Caberfae Peaks in Cadillac every Thursday evening starting in January. Any age is welcome, 12 and under will need a parent to accompany them. Hello Families!
This year we have an exciting new resource called the Family Room that will help you gain an understanding of what your child may be working on in school. The Family Room is divided into three sections:
Getting Started includes general tips on how to navigate Ed.
Program Support includes resources and strategies that I'll be introducing to your child during class, as well as suggestions for how you can support your child at home.
Finally, check out Shareables for quick tips about the challenges that many parents experience, like getting their children to talk about their learning.
