1. Seniors who did NOT order a cap and gown need to do so immediately. The deadline to
order online with Herff Jones is December 31 st . If you need assistance in placing your order,
see Mrs. Kintner or Mrs Fischer (in the front office) ASAP.
2. Student Government meeting today during lunch in Hubble's room.
3. For students interested in Ski Club please turn both forms in as soon as you can. Stay tuned
for another meeting next week.
4. HS Band: We are playing at both games this week on Tuesday and Thursday. Plan
accordingly.
5. Art Club is today afterschool until 4:00 p.m.

Girls Basketball with a great win tonight in Shepherd 49-38 to go 1-0 in JPC and 1-1 overall. Next game is in Harrison next Friday at 7:00.

What a spectacular City of Beaverton Christmas tree lighting event! Thank you to the BJSHS band for kicking the event off with holiday cheer. Miss Beaverton, Stella Govitz, got the honor of lightning the tree and of course Santa Claus made an appearance.

1. The HS Band will play at the Beaverton Tree Lighting @ Ross Lake Park this Friday (12/3) @
6 pm.
2. The Beaverton JSHS Music Department proudly presents their Annual Christmas Concert -
Monday, December 13th @ 6:30 pm in the JSHS Gymnasium. This evening of sacred and
secular Christmas music will feature the musical talents of 7th grade beginning band, 8th
grade band, high school band, and the 7-12 grade mixed choir. The concert is open to the
public (free of charge). Donations are graciously accepted.

1. Seniors: Deadline to complete the Survey for Graduation is TODAY!!! The survey can be
found in your WIN google classrooms.
2. The band room will be open Thursday and Friday (12/2 & 12/3) from 3:15 - 5 pm for
students preparing for the MSBOA District 9 Jr High Solo and Ensemble Festival this
Saturday in Tawas. Students should dress professionally. Itineraries were posted in google
classroom AND a hard copy was sent home with student participants.
3. The HS Band will play at the Beaverton Tree Lighting @ Ross Lake Park this Friday (12/3) @
6 pm. Student musicians need to report to the band room by 5:30 pm in "warm weather"
attire. A bus will pick us up behind the bandroom @ 5:45 pm. We should be back to
school by 6:45 pm. Let's help ring in the Holiday Season for our Community!

Tomorrow, seniors will get an opportunity to hear from Michigan Scholarships and Grants outreach rep, Nick Messing. He will be presenting a Financial aid 101 program to help students understand their post-secondary funding options during WIN.
Next week, students and parents can attend our Family Financial Aid Night to learn more about the FAFSA process and how to complete it.

4. Anyone in 7-12 grades interested in ski club please come to the Media Center/library today
during lunch. Mrs. Carland will be there at 10:45 for 9-12 grades and 11:15 for 7-8 grades.
She needs to know how many people are interested as soon as possible. If you are unable
to make the ski club meeting and are interested. You can sign up on sheet in the office and
need to take the consent forms.
