Last night, our baseball & softball team began their conference season: Baseball beat Farwell 1-0 and 14-3. Softball beat Farwell 11-2 in the first game and lost 7-2 in the second game. Softball plays at 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning in the Dow Tournament. Conference play resumes next Tuesday when varsity heads to Shepherd and JV softball hosts Shepherd. GO RED!

The track team competed at Gladwin Wednesday night against Gladwin, Tawas, and Ogemaw Heights. Top finishers included: Noah Coffey 3rd in the 100, and 1st in the high jump and long jump Taj Finney 3rd in the 800, 2nd in the 1600 4x4 relay team was 3rd, consisting of Justin Wood, Kamdyn Avila, William Warner and Payton Corrigan Mason Ptak 2nd in the shot put William Warner 3rd in the pole vault Faith Danilak 2nd in the 400 and 1st in the discus Tessa Wohlschlegel 1st in the 1600 and 3200 Grace Danielak 3rd in the 100m hurdles and 300m hurdles Taylor McCormack and Celine Demirdal tied for 3rd in the long jump The Beavers run in the Ogemaw Heights Invite tomorrow.

The track team travelled to Shepherd to run against Shepherd and Pinconning last night. Top finishers for the boys include: Noah Coffey 1st in the 100, high jump and long jump, Taj Finney 1st in the 1600, and the boys 4x100 relay team of Brian Northrup, Kamdyn Avila, William Warner, and Noah Coffey took 1st. For the girls: Taylor McCormack was 3rd in the 100 and long jump, Karley Fischer 3rd in the 400, and Grace Danielak 1st in the 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles. Nice job and GO RED!
