Welcome back to Beaverton Jr/Sr High School! I hope everyone has been having an enjoyable summer. I have several announcements I would like to share with you tonight about the upcoming school year. As a reminder, we have our district open house on August 17th from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. The 7th & 8th grade students will have a brief orientation in the gym starting at 4:30pm. The 9th through 12th grade students may pick up their schedule & chromebooks beginning at 4:30pm.
Prior to any student receiving their district issued chromebook, they must have a 2022-2023 school year signed user agreement on file which requires a parent and student signature. The user agreement is available on the school’s website, school office and the night of the open house.
In addition to the district wide open house, a specialized orientation for 7th grade students only is scheduled for August 15th from 10am to 1pm. Lunch will be provided. If you need more information, please contact the BJSHS office.
The first day of school is Monday, August 22nd and is a half day with students being released at 11:45am from the Jr/SrHS.
We look forward to everyone coming back to school. Thank you and have a great night.
GOING UP! There was plenty of progress at Beaverton's Metzger Field today with the continued installation of the home team bleachers; the press box will follow.
