SCHOOL ISSUED CHROMEBOOKS are considered school property and students are reminded to treat the device with respect to avoid having to cover the cost of intentional damage or permanent markings anywhere on the device. 7. When you borrow a charger or chromebook from the office you need to return it as soon as you are done or at the end of the day. We have 4 chargers that need to be returned to the office asap. 8. WINTER STUDENT-ATHLETES should be prepared to hand in their uniform at the team banquet or to the office in a plastic bag with your name on or inside the bag. 9. Softball practice Today at 3:00 pm. 10. Attention Football Players: The BHS Football Bowling Championship takes place on Sunday, March 20, at 3pm, at the Beaverton Bowl and Lounge. Cost is $9. Beaverton and Gladwin students met on Friday at the Beaverton Activity Center as part of Gladwin County Youth Leadership. They had a tour of the facility and learned about economic development in local communities.

What a great night of entertainment last evening at the Beaverton Jr/Sr High School Madrical. All of the students who participated in the dinner theater event did an excellent job. It was very entertaining. Thank you to Mrs. Kintner and all the volunteers who made this event a success. One last performance tonight at 6pm at the BAC.

Mrs. Sprague’s anatomy class just finished up an intense unit in blood and the cardiovascular system. It included learning CPR, dissecting pig hearts, a guest from EMS on heart attacks and finally a guest from Versiti for blood donation 101! We learned a lot!

In order to practice on Monday, the 14th, spring student- athletes must have a physical on file with the office to get their green card during the day to present to their coach at the first practice. 2. DUAL SPORT SPRING STUDENT-ATHLETES: If a high school student is planning on playing 2 spring sports this year, please talk with Ms. Johnston to complete the process. 3. Attention Seniors: The local scholarship application deadline is today! Be sure to complete your application ASAP!!! 4. The FED scholarship deadline is March 11th. There are 2, $2,000 scholarships available! Applications are on the Class of 2022 Google classroom!!! 5. Congratulations to Alexis Grove, Cadence Augustine and Taylor Newman who were all honored this weekend by the Michigan Wild Turkey Hunters Association-North Central Chapter. Each student earned a $500 scholarship! Way to go, ladies!! GO BEAVERS!
