Have a great Tuesday morning. This is just a reminder that tomorrow, Wednesday, September 16, 2020 is a half day of school for students.

Tonight's Board meeting will be held at the tent out by the athletic complex. Board meeting will begin promptly at 6pm. There is not a zoom option for tonight's meeting.

We had a great evening last night at our supply drive. Thank you to all who donated! Also, a special thank you to Kelly Armbruster & Thrivent for making this all happen. Thank you to all of the workers who came to lend a hand too and Mr. Z for supplying the tasty pulled pork. The parade was awesome! Their is a video posted on our FB page of the parade. We were blessed with a guest appearance from Miss Beaverton. Lastly, the Beavers were victorious over the G's last night. It was a great evening. A sincere thank you to all who came out and donated or assisted in any way. #GoBeavers

Please be reminded of our Supply Drive tomorrow evening.  Please help spread the word. Each donation entitles that person to a free meal. Due to the Executive Orders, we have restrictions on spectators for the Volleyball event.  Each participant is only allowed 2 spectators and the events are not open to the general public. Sorry for any inconvenience. However, we are still able to have the drop off site for supplies right under the Circus tent by the parking lot of the athletic complex. #GoBeavers

Bus drop off times for tonight, September 9, 2020, may vary due to an unexpected transportation issue. Parents please be aware that students may arrive earlier or later than expected. This will specifically impact that leaf, kite, football, gingerbread, and ice cream bus. We are working on resolving this issue and appreciate your patience and understanding for tonight. Thank you.

Caring for our kids with a special tribute to those caring for and protecting our community. Come on out and join us this Friday, September 11th from 4-7pm. (Flyer attached) We are hosting a school supply drive to assist our students and teachers for the 2020-2021 school year. With proper resources at their disposal, students find the confidence to return to school day in and day out. Teachers, too, are empowered to do their best work when they are supported by the resources they need to maintain effective, equitable learning environments. Please help out if you can. Good evening Beaverton Community, This message is intended for our distance learning families. If you requested a Chromebook device from the district, then you can pick up the Chromebook this Thursday, August 27th from 9am to 3pm behind the Elementary gym at the STEM lab. In addition to getting a device, you will be asked to sign several permission forms. Please contact the Elementary or Jr/Sr High school. Secondly, Beaverton Food Service will be providing take-home breakfasts and lunches for any virtual learning student who is interested. Meals for the entire week must be picked up at the back of Beaverton Jr Sr High School from 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm, and from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm each Monday. We are asking all parents of virtual learning students, to complete the survey in the link below so we know if you are interested or not in take-home meals and which time you prefer to pick up your meals. It is important to Beaverton Schools to be able to continue to feed our virtual learning students. Beaverton Food Service Department is encouraging all parents/students to take advantage of this opportunity. It's that time again!! Classes will be in full swing within a week and we are excited! Teachers are beginning to contact their student's families to introduce themselves and to answer any questions the families may have. Additionally, our Beaverton Elementary Virtual Open House will be released on this Thursday showcasing who we are and what to expect.
