Beaverton Jr./Sr. High School has announced its Homecoming Court ahead of a Spirit Week that promises fun for everyone.

A king and queen will be crowned Oct. 7 during an assembly that caps off Spirit Week at Beaverton. Later that evening, the court will be introduced at halftime of the varsity football game versus Harrison. A dance will follow next evening at the high school.

The court includes freshmen Braylin Orton and Karter Offenbecker; sophomores Braelynn Delisle and Logan Swartzmiller; juniors Eva Reader and Justin Wood; and seniors Logan Love, Taj Finney,  Seth Onweller, Taylor McCormack, Lillyan Herren- Howard and Grace Simpson.

Each grade will build floats for the annual parade that takes place on the streets of Beaverton at 5 p.m. on Oct. 7. This year’s theme for the floats is holidays.

Before that, however, BJSHS students will battle for bragging rights during Spirit Week, with each day offering up different themes, including Monday - Adam Sandler; Tuesday - Minions; Wednesday - Country vs. Country Club; Thursday - Theme Day; Friday - Red, White and Beaverton.

Beaverton Elementary is also getting into Spirit Week, with students observing Hat Day (Monday); Comfy Cozy Day (Tuesday); College Shirt/Jersey Day (Wednesday); Rainbow Day (Thursday); and Beaverton Day (Friday).
